Aquarium accessories, flared outlet flow diffuser

This model is an aquarium outlet flow diffuser accessory.

Note: Cannot be used alone!!! Must be used with a Xianyu 16mm flared outlet.

I accidentally saw this (pictured below) while browsing on my phone and felt it should be useful for slowing down the water flow from the flared outlet.

Some might think this is useless. I'd say there's still a demand for it. Some aquariums are relatively small, and even with a flared outlet, the water flow might be too strong for small fish; or some planted tank enthusiasts might need even slower water flow; and some aquarists like to fill the water level very high, so if the surface ripples, water might overflow... etc.

Finally: For print material, I recommend PETG, not PLA. I've heard that PLA degrades when submerged in water, and aquarium lighting can accelerate this process. PLA's durability is not as good as PETG's.

I conceived this model based on images; any similarities are purely coincidental.
