Ultra Lightweight Canyon Garmin Wahoo Stem Mount
Print Profile(2)

Description
Short description
Low-profile out-front bicycle computer mount designed for Canyon stems with a factory mounting hole. Supports interchangeable Garmin/Wahoo inserts and an optional bottom-mounted GoPro accessory.
Description
This is a compact and rigid out-front bicycle computer mount designed primarily for Canyon Endurace and Canyon Grizl bikes equipped with a stem that has a factory mounting hole underneath.
The mount shown in the photos was fitted to a Canyon ST0035 stem. Compatibility depends on the stem design rather than the bicycle model alone, so please check that your stem has the required mounting hole before printing.
The modular design allows you to install:
- a Garmin or Wahoo computer insert on top,
- a second Garmin/Wahoo insert underneath,
- or a dedicated GoPro-style mount underneath for a camera or bicycle light.
For the Garmin/Wahoo interface, you can use this insert:
Garmin Bike Computer Mount Insert
For the bottom GoPro interface, I recommend using a metal GoPro adapter. Printed plastic GoPro adapters may not be strong enough for heavier cameras or lights, especially on rough roads.
The supplied 3MF contains the main mounting body and the print settings used for the part shown in the photos.
Lightweight design
Despite its rigid construction and strength-oriented print settings, the main printed body weighs only approximately 16 g when printed in ABS. This weight does not include the heat-set inserts, screws, Garmin/Wahoo insert or optional bottom accessory mount. The open-frame design keeps the mount lightweight while maintaining good stiffness.
Required hardware
- 4 × M3 heat-set inserts: M3 × 4 × 4.2 mm
- 1 × M4 heat-set insert: M4 × 6 × 6 mm
- 4 × M3 countersunk screws of suitable length
- 1 × M4 countersunk screw of suitable length
- Garmin/Wahoo insert for the top mount
- Optional Garmin/Wahoo or GoPro insert for the bottom mount
Screw length depends on the thickness of the selected inserts and your stem. Make sure the screws achieve sufficient thread engagement without bottoming out inside the heat-set inserts.
Assembly
- Install the four M3 heat-set inserts in the circular mounting section.
- Install the M4 heat-set insert in the stem attachment point.
- Attach the Garmin/Wahoo insert on top using two M3 countersunk screws.
- Attach the main body to the stem using the M4 countersunk screw.
- Optionally install a second Garmin/Wahoo insert or a GoPro adapter underneath using the remaining two M3 screws.
- Check that all screws are secure and that the computer cannot rotate or release unintentionally.
A small amount of medium-strength threadlocker can be used on the screws, but avoid getting it on the printed part.
Recommended print settings
The included 3MF is configured with:
- Material: ABS
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm
- Layer height: 0.20 mm
- Infill: 100%
- Wall loops: 15
- Supports: enabled
- Brim: enabled
- Approximate model dimensions: 74.3 × 38 × 17.5 mm
ABS or ASA is recommended due to temperature resistance and outdoor durability. PLA is not recommended for long-term use on a bicycle, especially in direct sunlight or inside a hot car.
Print the model in the supplied orientation for the best balance between strength, surface quality and dimensional accuracy.
Support removal
The supports inside the circular mounting section can be slightly difficult to remove, so take your time and use suitable tools. It is worth cleaning this area carefully, as the supported orientation produces a very clean internal structure and well-shaped mounting surfaces for the Garmin/Wahoo inserts. Avoid using excessive force to prevent damaging the insert seats.
Compatibility
Designed for:
- Canyon Endurace
- Canyon Grizl
- Canyon ST0035 stem
- Other bicycles and stems with a compatible factory mounting hole
Please compare the mounting point and available clearance with the photos before printing. Different generations of the same bicycle may use different stems.
Safety notice
This is a user-designed, 3D-printed bicycle accessory. Inspect the mount regularly for cracks, deformation, loose inserts or loose screws. Replace it immediately after a significant impact or when any damage is visible.
Avoid mounting particularly heavy equipment underneath the computer. The designer is not responsible for damage to a bicycle computer, camera, light or bicycle caused by incorrect printing, assembly or material selection.
