Autonomous GPS Buoys for RC Sailing
Why Autonomous Buoys
- Facilitate race organization : position up to 6 buoys in moments, effortlessly
- Adapt the course to real conditions : define your race based on wind and water conditions
- Gain autonomy : the buoys move and position themselves automatically to mark the course

Why did we create these buoys
- Traditional buoys require a boat for deployment, with a risk of damaging the seabed due to the anchor. Setting up a course takes about 30 minutes, and it takes just as long to modify it if the wind changes
- Today, major regattas like the America’s Cup or the Sail GP already use autonomous buoys. We took on the challenge of designing autonomous buoys that are accessible and adapted for radio-controlled sailboats
