Fiat Panda Tailgate Handle

On my Fiat Panda, the original plastic cover around the tailgate handle was broken on both the right and left sides. Instead of replacing the entire cover, I designed this precisely fitting repair cover.

The printed part is glued directly under the "Panda" lettering over the damaged area. This covers the broken areas and stabilizes them at the same time. The tailgate handle remains easily accessible.

Material Recommendation

For automotive use, I recommend:

• PETG
• ASA
• alternatively ABS

PLA is only conditionally suitable, as the part could deform under strong sunlight and high temperatures.

Assembly

1. Thoroughly clean and degrease adhesive surfaces.
2. Align the printed part for a test fit.
3. Apply a suitable bodywork, plastic, or assembly adhesive.
4. Position the cover and press firmly.
5. Allow the adhesive to fully cure.

Before gluing, it is essential to check whether the part fits the respective vehicle model correctly.

The model was designed for my own Fiat Panda. Due to different model years or versions, the fit may vary slightly for other vehicles.
