Description
“Space Weather” Poster (based on ESA)
This is a 3D printable poster based on the stunning "Space Weather" artwork by the European Space Agency (ESA):
https://www.esa.int/ESA_Multimedia/Images/2019/03/Space_Weather
I took the poster and tried to simplify it so it is printable with one AMS with 4 colors.

About the Design
This poster illustrates the dynamic and unpredictable relationship between our Sun and Earth. As the ESA describes it, the Sun is a churning ball of hot gas that blasts intense radiation and coronal mass ejections in every direction. The artwork beautifully captures the solar wind hitting Earth's protective magnetic field, showcasing the phenomenon that causes geomagnetic storms and space weather.
Print Settings & Details
- Multicolor: Printed this on my A1 with AMS Lite with 4 colors
- Layer Height: 0.20mm
- Color Recommendations: To match the authentic ESA aesthetic, I recommend a dark background (Black or Dark Navy), a vibrant Orange/Yellow for the Sun, and a bright Cyan/Blue for Earth's magnetic shield.
