Update Log

1. 2026.7.21: Added profile, added a version printable on A1 mini, internal length shortened by 1.5cm, internal dimensions are: 16.5cm long, 10cm wide, 8.2cm high (A1 mini)
2. 2026.7.20: Modified profile, the default base plate is changed to the version with limiters, so it won't fall out when shaken. (This version was modified based on the profile published by @即刻 for the previous Mario tissue box version, thanks!) Also added a profile, which is the original version without limiters, if anyone needs it, you can print this version of the base plate

Background of this update:

1. Hoping to combine the previously made Sunken Mario Tissue Box (link is clickable) and Mario Desktop Trash Bin, and at the same time optimize previous design shortcomings
2. The main shortcomings are:
   1. Mario Desktop Trash Bin
      1. The four sides cannot be freely changed in position, and there are only four patterns, not much space for DIY. This time, seven are directly updated, and their positions can be changed freely
      2. Many friends gave feedback that the small grass should face upwards, but in the game, it faces downwards. Therefore, this update is expected to support both versions simultaneously, 👀 let's see which one gets more prints 😂
   2. Sunken Mario Tissue Box: The first version required too many supports in its design, and the bottom supports would string after removal. Printing also consumed a lot of filament. This time, support parameters have been adjusted (reduced support spacing, increased support layers), unnecessary supports removed, structure modified, infill and wall thickness reduced. There will no longer be large areas of support. This will save a lot of material

The seven patterns this time: Four of them are the same patterns as the previous Mario desktop trash bin

Three new patterns have been added this time: but no new filament colors will be added, trying to use similar color schemes 😂 (More updates will follow, you can choose four patterns from the seven available)

Internal dimensions of the box body: 18cm long, 10cm wide, 8.2cm high

Print versions and progress:

• Profile 1: ✅ Classic version + four classic patterns, multi-part print (This version is recommended, one because it is more faithful to the game, and the other because the blue stripe and the grass below will not have gaps, making it more aesthetically pleasing)
• Profile 2: ✅ Classic version + four classic patterns, but with the small grass facing downwards (The main difference between this version's accessories and the grass facing upwards is the number of brick layers at the bottom, one has 2 layers of bricks, the other has 3 layers of bricks, and a circular arc is cut below the blue stripe)
• Profile 3: ⭕️ In progress: Version with seven patterns that can be printed separately (multi-part + Print in Place version)
• Profile 4: ⭕️ In progress: Only tissue box version, all patterns printed separately

• Other profiles: If anyone wants other patterns, please leave a comment; those with more requests will be updated

   

🎨 Recommended print colors:

1. Yellow: PLA Matte Lemon Yellow
2. Blue: PLA Basic Cyan
3. Green: PLA Basic Christmas Green
4. Brown: PLA Basic Brown
5. Red: PLA Matte Scarlet
6. Box body & mushroom's face: PLA Basic Apricot (This apricot color is very beautiful, I bought several more spools of this color after the last print 😂)
7. White: Any PLA white will do

🖨️ Printing method: Default parameters have been added, necessary points like supports, bridging, surface print effect adjustments and other details have been included, you can print directly (Make sure to clean and wipe the build plate, apply glue if necessary, to avoid spaghetti)

Recently, I bought a cold plate to try it out, couldn't resist sharing. The first layer effect is amazing, matte texture, and good adhesion for PLA. It's fantastic for use in summer... The brand doesn't matter, the effect should be similar
