Description
Since I prefer flying my Freewing F-18 without the landing gear installed, I didn't want to leave the landing gear bays open. That's why I designed a set of custom-fit covers that blend seamlessly into the aircraft and give it a much cleaner, more scale-like appearance. Besides improving the overall look, the covers may also help reduce drag and keep dirt, grass, and small stones out of the gear bays. If you're flying your F-18 gear-up as well, these covers might be a useful addition to your model. I'm happy to share my design with the community.
