CORAL PROTECTION DOME - Coral dome for aquarium
Protect your corals effectively and safely with this protective coral dome for marine aquariums, specially designed for reef environments. The open hexagonal structure provides the perfect balance between protection, light and water circulation, allowing corals to grow healthily without interference.
This coral guard dome is ideal for:
- Protecting corals from aggressive or curious fish
- Safeguarding new coral frags during the acclimation phase
- Preventing accidental damage during aquarium maintenance
🔹 Main features:
- Geometric grid design for maximum water flow (max hole width of 3cm)
- Stable base for easy placement on the substrate or live rock
- Lightweight yet durable structure
- Perfect for marine aquariums and reef tanks
- Optimized for 3D printing (easy to print with minimal supports)
🔹 Benefits:
- Promotes healthy coral growth
- Does not block light or water movement
- Reduces stress for newly introduced coral frags
This essential reef aquarium accessory is perfect for both beginners and experienced aquarists who want to improve the survival rate and development of their corals.
I highly suggest to only use PETG for this print (more safe for delicate environments), in particular the traslucent one to let more light pass though.
I used a 0.6mm nozzle to print it faster, but you can use whatever you prefer :)
