T-34-85 (Berlin 1945)

The Design:

This tank's parts were made from cero using Onshape from Bavaria's model, The tank parts are all based on their real counterparts using web files as blueprints, models, and photos.

The tracks were made by @M_M_ and were used under his permission.

Historical Note:

As the walls closed in on Germany, T-34-85 crews faced a growing threat from Panzerfausts in the narrow streets of European cities. In response, a small number of late-war T-34-85s were fitted with experimental sheet-metal side screens intended to act as spaced armor, causing shaped-charge warheads to detonate before reaching the hull.

 These modifications were never standardized and remained rare, but they reflected the Red Army's efforts to improve the survivability of its tanks during the final offensives of 1945.

PRINTING:

Filament: PLA.  Using others may generate issues.

Slicer:  I recommend using the default profile.

Print Bed: Wash if necessary, then dry thoroughly for good adhesion. For small parts, apply a glue stick. 

Temperature:  keep your room above 20°C (68°F) to prevent issues, especially if you use an open frame printer.

ASSAMBLY:

Follow the same instructions as in Bavaria's model, only difference is the adding of the Ekrany (side screens) at the end.
