1-5U Posts bolted / brass version

Description

This model is a remix of the original LabRax 10-inch rack posts, combining the advantages of both the Bolted and Brass versions.

The posts are designed to work with the top and bottom parts of the Bolted version, while using heat-set brass threaded inserts for mounting rack panels, just like the Brass version.

The main advantage of this remix is that you are no longer limited by the original 4 mm depth of the brass inserts, providing greater flexibility when mounting equipment.

Assembly

• Compatible with the LabRax Bolted top and bottom frame.
• Uses M6 × 12 mm screws to attach the posts to the frame.
• Rack panels are secured using heat-set brass threaded inserts.

Why this remix?

This remix was created while upgrading my own 10-inch LabRax rack. My goal was to reuse as many printed parts from the Bolted version as possible while benefiting from the strength and convenience of brass threaded inserts for mounting rack equipment.

The posts are fully compatible with the original LabRax system and can be used together with the original components.

All credit for the original design belongs to the creator of the LabRax system. This model is simply a remix of the original parts, created to combine the benefits of the Bolted and Brass versions while maintaining full compatibility with the original system.
