The chute is designed to redirect the poops into any bucket placed alongside the printer or over the edge of the desk into a floor bucket. I did not integrate a bucket because normally something which can be used as one is found in any household. This is just to print / waste not more material than really needed.
The width of the chute is adapted to the width of the poop ejection cut-out on the back of the printer. In contrast to many other chutes there is a radius guiding the poop around the corner to the side.

I used screws to attach the chute to the printer. There are different advantages of screwing it to the printer:

  • In the back of the printer there are already holes right next to the cut-out
  • The screwed chute will never fall off or be moved to another position by any effects during printing or moving your printer
  • It is easy remove the chute if you need to without any risk to break it

I mounted the chute with two M3x8 cylinder screws. Others users also just took longer screws leftover from the unboxing. I just added both type of screws feasible (choose one type) and the washers to the bill of materials.
I recommend to use washers to reduce the danger of breaking the chute. In Version 2 the diameter of the holes in the chute are reduced to make screwing easier.

Does not fit on an X1C with AMS Hub
