3kg Spool Holder for R3D 3KG Filament Spool (Compatible with Sealed Bucket)

I found a plastic bucket on Taobao perfectly sized for a 3KG R3D filament spool at an affordable price. However, due to its snug fit, the holder requires precision; this refined design ensures seamless compatibility.

If you are going to put a 3KG filament spool in a dry box, then you will need a spool holder that is compact enough.

The approximate parameters are adaptable to spools with a 250mm diameter and a thickness of less than 105mm.

So, I modified the dimensions to maximize space; it accommodates filament spools with a 250mm diameter and a thickness of less than 100mm.

Seamless compatibility means the spool nearly touches the bottom, maximizing vertical space within the bucket, as shown:

After installation, the lid closes smoothly and operates flawlessly, as shown:

Two print configurations are available: a single-piece print for larger machines, or pre-sliced files if, like me, you only have an A1 mini.

The files include printed bearings; after lubrication, they are sufficiently durable. Those lacking 608 iron bearings can use these as a suitable substitute.
