Description
The idea came at the local club to create some 3D printed walls for a track, with the target of being used on a flat surface (carpet, wood, or whatever).
I did a modular design including some straight, left, right at two length (5cm/10cm for the blocks) with 2 different angles (10/20° angles). They are designed to be printed without support and a small connector is linking the parts together.
on a Bambu Lab P series or X Series, 2 meters of walls should consume about
- a bit more than 200g of filament and 5 hours print in standard settings with 5% infill
- a bit more than 350g of filament and about 9 hours print in strength settings with 5% infill
In the case you want two colors it is highly suggested to print plates with only one color to minimise the waste of filament and printing time.
You may reuse the same principles and connector to build other modular elements to complete the collection :-)
