Description

This insert allows you to store the Steam Deck OLED charger (US plug style) in the back of your Steam Deck case. I didn't include any SD card storage, feel free to remix and add if you need those or when I get less lazy, I'll add some. The OLED charger cord is very long so I had to really squeeze things to fit it and thus left out a lid. I think you could probably fit a lid but this was working pretty well as is so I left it be. **Added a version you can clip the end of the USB cable into so it doesn't unravel on you.

To put in your charger, insert the wall plug first all the way till it stops. Then run the cord through the center of the wrapping posts, then start wrapping. You should be able to wrap it such that the whole cord will fit well into there. If you go clockwise and wrap tight, you can fit the end of the cable into a little slot so it doesn't unravel on you.

Print he model with the big flat side down. You'll need supports under the two tabs that hold the cord for winding. If you have a multi-extruder or MMU, there are extra bodies in there for doing the Steam Deck logo in different colors. Tell PrusaSlicer to “Split to Parts” and it'll let you modify those other bodies to make them fun colored. You can also use the PrusaSlicer text embossing or modifier to add personalization (like your name or like a “OLED” tag or something).
