Description
Streamlined Remix of Marsgizmo Filament Bunker V3 for Enhanced Storage
This design is a thoughtfully adapted version of the Marsgizmo Filament Bunker V3, tailored for enthusiasts who prioritize efficient and straightforward filament storage. By eliminating the original design's integrated printing features, this remix focuses on simplicity and maximizes storage effectiveness, stripping away non-essential components.
Principal Alterations:
- Bearing System and PTFE Connector Removed: This version removes the bearing mechanism and PTFE connector, dedicating its function entirely to storage rather than facilitating direct printing from the container.
Compatibility and Assembly:
- Optimized for Wide Container Use: Specifically modified for wide containers, this remix optimizes space and ensures compatibility.
- Assembly Instructions: Please refer to the available assembly video, noting that instructions related to bearings and PTFE Connectors do not apply to this streamlined version:
Necessary Parts: (Affiliates Links are directly from Marsgizmo → I don't receive anything!)
- Wide Container: Wide Container Link - Recommended for optimized storage capacity.
- 608 ZZ Skateboard Bearings: Required only for direct printing from the container. (Print Original Version) Bearings Link
- Silica Beads: Essential for maintaining a low-humidity environment within the container. While the type of silica beads may vary, regular replacement or reactivation of the beads can keep the internal humidity below 15%, ensuring filaments remain dry and print-ready.
- Hygrometer: A square version is advised for monitoring humidity levels. Hygrometer Link (Alternatives may be found on AliExpress for a lower cost.)
Acknowledgments: This remix, inspired by the innovative Marsgizmo Filament Bunker V3, is designed for users who desire a more straightforward, storage-focused solution for their 3D printing filaments.
