Description
About the model
I designed this model with "print in place" in mind, meaning it can be printed fully assembled. Only the decorative caps are separate objects, so you can print them in a different color if you prefer. The phone stand is adjustable to various positions according to your preference and can be completely closed for easy carrying.
Printing tips
You can print this phone stand using any type of filament, but remember that the hinge may wear out and become slightly loose over time if you use a filament that can't withstand some friction. From my experience, PLA Matte looks the best but performs the worst. I would recommend using PETG or ABS instead.
Support removal
Remember to remove all supports, including those at the bottom of the model. After removing them, hold the phone stand with two hands and try to close it with some force to break off the supporting filament inside, allowing the stand to be adjusted.
Keep in mind that this model requires a well-calibrated printer due to small tolerances. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
