Description

Filament Fishing Flynn

If you're looking for a fun art piece to add to your printing collection, here is a little silhouette of a person fishing on a dock for none other than a spool of filament. If only there was a place where we could go sit out in the summer sun, reel in some PLA and take it home to the dryer for our next big print. For now, we'll have this little guy as a reminder to keep on designing, printing, and enjoying our hobby.

Assembly is super simple:

  1. Snap Together: Attach the top figure to the sturdy base with a simple press fit. No glue required; the precision design ensures a snug fit.
  2. Thread the Filament: The fishing pole and figure have a specially designed hole to accommodate standard 1.75mm filament. Just push the filament through to create the illusion of a person fishing on a dock.
  3. Use double-sided tape: Secure the fishing person down to your shelf, printer, or other surface with some double-sided tape, or simply loop a piece of single sided tape to ensure he doesn't fall in the pond.

Note: This design is optimized for 1.75mm filament. If you're using a different filament size, slight modifications to the slots may be necessary.
