Description

The situation was this: I ran into some difficulties with bed leveling a few days ago. The auto-leveling feature on my 3D printer (Bambu P1S) seemed to be malfunctioning, leading to significant first-layer printing defects. As a result, I had to manually level the bed to restore its flatness. After multiple attempts at manual leveling, the printer finally returned to normal! However, I needed a test model to verify the effectiveness of the leveling, so I created this First Layer Test model. This test model is suitable for P1P and P1S (perhaps X1 as well?).
So here's the thing, I ran into some trouble with bed leveling a few days ago. As a result, I had to resort to manual bed leveling to get the heat bed back to being flat. After several attempts at manual leveling, the printer finally returned to normal! But I needed a test model to verify the effectiveness of the leveling, so I made this First Layer Test model. This test model can be used for P1P and P1S (maybe X1 as well?).

I desired the test to be as rigorous as possible, so I extended the model as close to the edges of the heat bed as I could, covering 91% of the printing surface. This allows for a comprehensive assessment of the leveling results. Despite my diligent efforts to level the heat bed, and with the assistance of the automatic leveling feature, there might still be some printing imperfections at the model's edges. For this reason, I refer to this test as "Hell Difficulty." If you can print the test model flawlessly, congratulations! You'll find printing other models smoother.

This First Layer Test model also serves as a build plate cleaning tool. If you're using different colored filaments in consecutive prints, it's advisable to use the First Layer Test model to give the build plate a thorough cleaning. Cover the remaining old filament residue on the plate with new filament, then peel it off, similar to using waxing paper for hair removal.
