<ul><li>LEGS: When orienting your print, lay the model upside down on its knees. I've designed this piece to get good bed adhesion if you print it that way. I recommend printing quite slowly (I slow my printer right down to 50 mm/s but that is probably a bit too cautious). Definitely turn on Z-hops. Use supports and add a 5mm brim. Recommend printing at 0.16 layer height.</li><li>EYES: For best results, print at a fine level of detail. It's easy to print these peg-side down, but if you have a textured mat, you might want to experiment with printing them eyeball down. It produces a different appearance. Recommend printing at .08 layer height.</li><li>HEAD: I've modeled in a flat section at the back of the spider's head. Lay that surface on the mat. This will allow the holes in the model to be printed without pesky supports and makes sure your visible surfaces end up with the best finish. Any layer height is fine.</li><li>HAT: There are tons of ways you can print this, but I recommend printing it brim side down with tree supports. Tweak your supports to be as minimal as possible. You may need to do a bit of clean up if you want the underside of the hat to be pristine. Recommend 0.12 layer height. </li><li>WAND: Use a brim with a 0.01 gap to make the brim easier to separate from the model.</li></ul>

This is the first model in a bright, weird and somewhat surreal series of cute spiders in dressup costumes. Now you may be wondering … why would a spider go to all the trouble of wearing a creepy costume when they are already … well … a spider? I don't have a clever answer to that.
