Description

Introduction

After the back of my wardrobe tore off yesterday because I pushed clothes too far into the wardrobe, I had to find a quick and easy solution to the problem.

The solution is available for download here. This small pad distributes the force of the nail over a larger area and prevents the back panel from tearing or fraying.

If the flattened edge of the washer is placed flush with the outer wall, the nail hits exactly in the centre of the corresponding board. I used a nail with a diameter of 2 mm and the distance from the centre of the board to the outer edge is 10 mm.

Change Parameters

For all other cabinet types whose dimensions differ from the Ikea cabinets, the parameters can be changed using Fuison 360.
To do this, simply open the model in Fusion and proceed as follows:
Solid --> Modify --> Change Parameters

Print settings:

  • PLA
  • "Extra Draft"
  • No support structure
  • print as many as needed

I would be very pleased to receive a rating or a nice comment.
