Description

Dragon Ball - Son Goku Chibi Figure

From the popular manga and anime series, Dragon Ball, comes this adorable chibi figure of the main character, Son Goku!

Our strong hero with a pure heart is 7,8 cm tall but can be resized to your liking. No print supports are needed with these dimensions, but if you modify them, they may be necessary!

PRINTING TIPS:

Goku stands up even in the standard infill version, but if you want more stability you can print the "WEIGHTED BOTTOM" version that you can find in the 3mf file.

Personally, I didn't have any problems printing it without brim, but if you notice loss of adhesion it might be necessary to activate it.

Hi Zekker, given how famous the character is, I tried my best. It was very difficult to capture the iconic shape of the hair without using supports. A keen eye will surely notice that some tufts are more prone to the top than the original model, but I hope they understand that it was technically necessary to avoid using supports (like all the chibis I've done so far). Probably a Saiyan version with the hair standing up would have been easier to make😅, but I wanted to represent the more childish, more tender Goku and at the beginning of his incredible journey. Thank you as always for the love and support you give me. ❤️ I hope to see a photo of your colored Goku soon. See you! 😃

Hi Gatto!! Your efforts truly paid off, the figure turned out amazing!! Thank you again for your dedication!! I really appreciate that you opted to represent Goku at the beginning of his journey, it feels like a tribute to Akira Toriyama, may he rest in peace. I really enjoyed painting this and the other models, though i wish i had mor talent to bring out their full potential. I guess practice makes perfect 😂

Nice little print. We had what looked like some bed adhesion issues printing on the X1C with Textured Plate that were amplified when the hair were at its widest points, happened two prints in a row as I thought the first one might've been root caused by an early issues near the start of the print. We solved it by slowing my print down a little (as shown in pic by adjusting the max volumetric flow rate of my filament to 3mm cubed per second from the default, but there a couple of different ways).
