Description

When creating a stack of 3+ AMS, in a configuration that allows you to open each one to swap filament rolls, there may be a section without any cross bracing. What I found is that this section induces a considerable amount of “sway” into the model. To counteract this, I took the original design of the braces and moved the cross brace part of it from the bottom of the model to the top. It is intended for use with the blank back brace connector piece, NOT the AMS connector piece. Hopefully someone finds this useful!

For context on the different images:
Image 1 shows the part mounted on my stack below a normal AMS back brace
Image 2 shows the same part dismounted with the connector piece attached
Image 3 shows the parts disconnected, as if they had just been printed
Image 4 shows a comparison between my model (top) and the original model (bottom), highlighting the difference.
