Greetings, fellow makers!

A simple paper holder for 20cm paper rolls (small workshop rolls). All parts (except fastening screws and pins) are included on the print bed. The holder can also be used as a filament unwinder. However, for this application, it is recommended to replace the sliding bearings with proper 608 type bearings.

Update!

A new tear-off mechanism has been added, located in the second print profile. The first profile only contains the holder.

There are also now different rollers with varying diameters for different paper rolls. You can find these in the “STL download section”.

Assembly instructions for the tear-off mechanism:

To secure the arm to the holder, I recommend using cylindrical pins with internal threads. The arms of the tear-off mechanism can then be secured using screws and a washer.

approx. 5mm outer diameter

It is also possible to use standard cylindrical pins or simply screws (M5).

After mounting the bolts, click the mounts (see above) into the holders and then mount the arms.

For the tear-off bar, it is best to use a few screws (M3). Do not overtighten!!! ;-)

Older model shown in the image.

There is also a type of reinforcement on the print bed (profile 2). You don't necessarily need it, but it can help with the initial assembly (locating the wall hole).

Have fun crafting, printing, and posting!!!
