Description

The issue

Somehow, someday, our little devilish dachshund decided it was time to choose a new place to nap when we where not at home. Because thats what they do, they don't listen, you are there servants and they will do as they please. Our shepherd on the other hand is just normal and does not understand why that little devil just does not listen.

We found paw prints on the table even tough we had made sure that the chairs where as close to the table as possible. Since it wasn't the first time, she must be able to climb the chairs via the little bit of available seat that is left.

The fix

I decided to try my hand on designing something that would fit on our chairs, would be easy and fast to print and would ofcourse made sure that the little devil couldnt get on the chairs.

I've designed two parts with hollow spheres and a connecting piece to make sure that the spheres would reach the end of the chairs. I printed it yellow because it would stand out on the chairs to make it more visisble.

Little warning

Keep in mind that dogs see our world in mostly yellow colors. Therefore, they will not see yellow items that good as we people do. I would recommend going for another color, but this is what I had and it seems to do the trick for us.

Assembly

Print the three parts and push in the connecting part as seen in the attached GIF. Its a tight squeeze, but it will fit!
