I have designed a hard shell for the DJI Avata 2. The reason for this is the safe transport, especially when traveling with luggage. In the original DJI bag or similar soft bags, the Avata 2 is not safe from luggage straps and baggage handlers at the airport. Printed with a single wall, it offers light protection; with two walls, this container becomes a protective cage! The container is precisely fitting so that the drone is securely fixed. In principle, everything can be printed without supports; however, for 100% reliability, the locking recesses on the lid should at least be printed with supports. The hinges are connected with a 3mm tube or 3mm screws, the locking catches with 2x20mm sheet metal screws or 2mm steel wire. Just in time for the holiday season, one or the other drone can now travel safely ;-) Enjoy printing and protecting your Avata 2
