Do you hate wasting the last drops of the previous bottle when you open a new one?
Well, have I got the print for you.
Take a few measurements, customize this bottle joiner, and let gravity do the work for you!
You'll need 3 measurements.
- Diameter - This is actually the size of “circle” that is used to cut the threads, so I find it easiest to get a measurement by measuring from the inside of the threads on one side of the neck, to the outside of the threads on the other. See my example picture of a 26mm diameter.
- Pitch - This is the distance between threads. See my example picture of a 4.5mm pitch. 3 and 4.5 are very common.
- Height - This should be a little bit shorter then the length of the threads multiplied by 2. This one can be a bit fuzzy, you just need enough height to catch threads on both bottles to screw them together.
Works with every bottle I've thrown at it.
It will also print the stats on the outside of the model, in case you need the details in the future!
