The Gun from Tom and Jerry

Originally it was designed to launch tennis balls with a spring.

But there were no tennis balls at home, so it was made into a non-spring-loaded design. However, it can be modified by drilling holes to become alcohol-powered, launching ping pong balls. But it requires a spark plug from a lighter (a high-voltage coil is better), which needs to be drilled and installed in the end cap.

Then spray some alcohol into the barrel, place a tissue paper, and then you can load a ping pong ball and fire it.

Also, the fit between the parts is a bit loose. If you want to make it launch, it's best to reinforce it. You can use hot glue.
