Jaws barrel with Hidden Storage

Description
Make yourself the Iconic barrel from Jaws, but with a little surprise! This barrel has a custom-designed snap, and twist-off lid to reveal hidden storage inside. Very accurate 1/8 scale rendition of the actual movie prop made very 3d printer friendly, no supports needed.
To bring this barrel to life - and try to make it prop level of detail - I painted it, distressed it by using a chipping effect, used a wash over the whole barrel, and added rope.
Printing:
NOTE: I have noticed some filament brands print differently than others and can cause the lid to fit tight. If this is the case just use a file to sand down the notches on the lid a bit
- Material: Black PLA
- Layer height: .2mm | For the caps .16mm
- Infill: 15%
Non Printed Materials:
- Spray Paint used: Krylon Golden Sunset
- Acrylic Paint: Golden Acrylics black
- FW Acrylic Inks for the wash: Black | Burnt Umber
- Acrylic Medium flow additive for creating a wash
- 4MM Jute Rope
- Stencil Bushes for adding scratches
