Gameboy Advance SP A1 Mini Screen Cover
Print Profile(1)

Description
I just got an A1 Mini and haven't seen any screen covers for it like I see for the A1 and the X1C so I figured I would take the opportunity and make one based on the Gameboy Advance SP. I am still very new to 3D modeling and used TinkerCad for this so its not perfect but I think it looks pretty cool. I designed the base with tabs so they fit under the printer. I wanted to make something that can be printed as one model but the need for supports would suck so I designed the screen cover to fit over top of the base. The buttons were snap in place and I made them .2mm smaller than the hole.
I recommend printing at a .08 resolution. I have lowered the initial layer and infill speeds as well as added a 3mm brim for the buttons. I printed mine on the P1S and the A/B and Light On/Off button wouldnt stick without the brim. I have ironing on for the buttons and the base but turned it off for the screen cover because its printing top down. You could change the orientation to make it a similar texture to the base but that will require supports and more time. I changed the infill to 8% and used Adaptive Cubic because its still strong, just as fast as rectilinear, and this model doesn't need a lot of infill.
I printed my original one in Eryone black/purple silk filament because I had it on the A1 mini but I plan on reprinting it in a different color. I did revise the model since printing the one in the picture. I just made the part that sits on top of the base a little thicker so it will print better. There isn't a lot of room to work with on the mini so I couldn't make it as thick as I wanted it to be.
Anyway, hope you enjoy it and I can't wait to see the colors you are printing!
