Description

This rolling knife sharpener is using the easy to access sharpening disks with the M6 thread easy to got on e.g. AliExpress

Bill of Material

You will only need some basic components (sorry M6 are not listed in the Bill of Material section):
2x M6x20 screw DIN 933 or ISO 4017
2x 608 bearing (I opt for the 608RS with the rubber cover, especially if you want to use wet sanding discs)

Assembly:
1. Put in the screws into the axle and secure it with the axle covers on both ends

2. Pressfit one bearing into the handle

3. Insert the axle assembly into the handel / bearing assembly

4. Secure the axle with the second bearing in the handle

5. Screw on the grinding disks.

The models were designed in FreeCAD and tolerances were tuned for printing the files on my X1C using ESUN ABS.
If you need to adopt the tolerances and scanning wont do, I included also the original FreeCAD file.

AddOns:
Magnetic knife holding block, which I did not design on my own, since there are already plenty available, also adjustable ones, so just search for rolling knife sharpener and you find plenty.
