Tra i vari modelli di separatore del tuorlo dell’uovo dall’albume, questo modello mi è piaciuto subito perchè risponde a quel che cercavo sia come forma, sia come modalità di uso. I fori del cestello sono ben equilibrati e secondo me rispondono a un funzionamento efficace della separazione tra i due elementi dell&#39;uovo. Ho deciso di pubblicare questo profilo per correggere due sviste del creato di questo modello (che comunque ringrazio per il disegno del modello): 1) Nel suo profilo originale il manico è leggermente distaccato dalla cupola. Io ora l&#39;ho corretto: ho avvicinato il manico alla cupola di circa 3-4 decimi di millimetro sovrapponendoli leggermente, diversamente vengo stampati come elementi separati con una connessione fragile, destinata a distaccarsi. Purtroppo me ne seno accoro dopo averlo stampato! :-(  Anche il “fermo” dal lato opposto della cupola, l&#39;ho avvicinarlo di 1-2 decimi alla cupola e ne ho fatto un merge. Mantenere  la cupola come oggetto distinto dal resto è utile per gestire il “trim” interno in maniera differenziata (necessario se si stampa su piatto Tuxtured PEI) senza averlo anche nel foro del manico che è inutile (e poi va tolto in post lavorazione). 2) La seconda nota è una imprescindibile raccomandazione relativa al materiale da utilizzare per la realizzazione di un oggetto che deve entrare in contatto con il cibo. E’ d’obbligo ricordare sempre che in questi casi devono essere utilizzati filamenti con materiali certificati per alimenti. Anche se nel profilo troverete indicato del PLA (non è consentito indicare filamenti diversi da quelli previsti), io per la stampa ho usato un filamento FiloALFA “ABS 3D Fc by Elix” Atossico e inodore, certificato per contatto con alimenti, che rispetta le seguenti norme di riferimento:- Biocompatible: ISO 10993-1 USP Class VI- Food contact approved material acc. EU No 10/20111 and 21 CFR FDA. Inoltre, è buona norma, giacché difficilmente si ha una stampante dedicata a questo tipo di realizzazioni, pulire a lungo il “gruppo estrusore” da tracce di filamenti usati in precedenza, estrudendo a vuoto per qualche minuto.  Fatto salvo le due raccomandazioni, questo separatore è secondo me uno dei migliori oggetti del suo genere. Grazie. E&#39; necessario usare i supporti (che però sono facilmenre removibili con un po&#39; di attenzione e un po di lavoro di levigatura sul fondo della cupola, in Post Lavorazione. Buona stampa! :-)

Among the various egg yolk separator models, this design immediately appealed to me because it fulfills my requirements in both form and functionality. The basket's perforations are well-balanced, ensuring efficient separation of the egg's components. I've decided to publish this profile to correct two minor oversights in the original design (for which I extend my gratitude to the creator): 1) In the original profile, the handle is slightly detached from the dome. I've rectified this by bringing the handle closer to the dome by approximately 0.3-0.4 millimeters, slightly overlapping them. Otherwise, they print as separate elements with a fragile connection, prone to detachment. Unfortunately, I only realized this after printing it! :-( Similarly, I've also moved the "stop" on the opposite side of the dome 0.1-0.2 millimeters closer and merged it. Maintaining the dome as a distinct object from the rest is useful for managing the internal "trim" differently (necessary if printing on a textured PEI bed) without affecting the handle's perforation (which is unnecessary and should be removed post-processing). 2) The second point is a crucial recommendation regarding the material used for an object that comes into contact with food. It is imperative to use filaments with food-safe certifications. Although the profile specifies PLA (using different filaments is not permitted), I used FiloALFA "ABS 3D Fc by Elix" filament for printing—a non-toxic, odorless filament certified for food contact, complying with the following standards:- Biocompatible: ISO 10993-1 USP Class VI- Food contact approved material acc. EU No 10/20111 and 21 CFR FDA. Furthermore, it's advisable, given that most users don't have a dedicated printer for food-safe applications, to thoroughly clean the extruder of any residual filaments by extruding empty filament for a few minutes. Apart from these two recommendations, this separator is, in my opinion, one of the best of its kind. Thank you. Supports are necessary (though easily removable with careful post-processing and some sanding on the bottom of the dome). Happy printing! :-)
