Budget: irrelevant. Purpose: questionable. Result: priceless. 😁

A small sign for the workbench / desk – with the phrase that somehow too often comes true in 3D printing:

"It wasn't smart... but it was awesome!"

Perfect for moments like:

• you *just quickly* optimize the model – and suddenly it's 2:13 AM
• you print for 9 hours "for the looks" ... and then give it away
• you build something the world doesn't need – but you need it now 😅
• It wasn't smart – but hey: it looks brutally good.
• Engineering? No. Passion with a heated bed.
• The phrase for 90% of all "just quickly" prints.

Sign Stand, minimalist (optional)

So that the sign doesn't just lie around, there's a matching stand as an extra print profile
After printing: carefully remove supports, center the sign, tilt it slightly backwards and press down – done

Printed in PLA Black + PLA Yellow (AMS or filament change – depending on profile/3MF)

Print Recommendations – Sign

• Print plate: Textured PEI recommended
• Orientation: Front side on the plate (Text/border will be extra crisp)
• Layer: 0.2mm layer height
• Walls: 2
• Infill: 15%
• Top/Bottom: Top 2 / Bottom 5
• Support: no supports
• Important (for details): adjust "First-layer line width"
  • with 0.4 Nozzle: 0.38 mm (or similarly fine, depending on setup)
