"It wasn't smart... but it was awesome!" - funny 3D-printed sign + stand

Budget: irrelevant. Purpose: questionable. Result: priceless. 😁

A small sign for the workbench / desk – with the phrase that somehow too often comes true in 3D printing:

"It wasn't smart... but it was awesome!"

Perfect for moments like:

  • you *just quickly* optimize the model – and suddenly it's 2:13 AM
  • you print for 9 hours "for the looks" ... and then give it away
  • you build something the world doesn't need – but you need it now 😅
  • It wasn't smart – but hey: it looks brutally good.
  • Engineering? No. Passion with a heated bed.
  • The phrase for 90% of all "just quickly" prints.

Sign dimensions: 156 × 106 × 3 mm

Feedback welcome! A comment helps with fine-tuning – and others with reprinting
If it fits: Leave a like. If it fits perfectly: Post a make. If it doesn't fit: tell me. 😁

Sign Stand, minimalist (optional)

So that the sign doesn't just lie around, there's a matching stand as an extra print profile
After printing: carefully remove supports, center the sign, tilt it slightly backwards and press down – done

Filament / Colors

Printed in PLA Black + PLA Yellow (AMS or filament change – depending on profile/3MF)
