Description

Temperature Sensor Holder - Visible From Camera

This is a simple fix for a problem I had. I used to put my temperature sensor on the ledge to the right of the heatbed, but the temperature sensor would vibrate off. This model uses the small holes in the frame as anchorpoints to prevent the sensor from vibrating off. The fit is tight on purpose. I manged to push the sensor in with my hands.

I recommend using a material than can handle higher chamber temperatures. PLA may deform, so use ASA/PETG/ABS instead if you can.

ASA/ABS

Scaling recommendation for ABS/ASA: 100.3%. My [ASA] print profile has this scaling pre-applied.

I often have issues with ASA lifting, so I recommend the following things:

  • No Brim Gap
  • Reduced Elephant Foot Compensation
  • Increase Hot Bed Temperature
  • Decrease Speed & Cooling
  • Preheat your chamber to 45+ degrees before starting your print

Most temperature sensors probably have the same dimensions, so should be compatible.
