Description

Boost Me (for free)

If you enjoy this model, Don't forget to boost the model and support me to draw new projects :)

INTRO:

I have completely redesigned the drone body, making two main changes :

The first is the addition of position lights on the sides to increase the drone's visibility.

The second is the inclusion of a modular system through threaded inserts, allowing the use of different antennas from the original ones or the attachment of future modules to the drone.

DESCRIPTION OF 3D PRINTED PARTS:

  • Main body
  • Support for motors, and position lights (Red left side, Green right side)
    • There are two versions, one for stock Parrot antennas, and one to use with other antennas
  • Landing feet
  • Side SMA antenna support

MATERIAL:

  • For main body, support of motors and antenna support I've used ABS-GF, but you can use other type of resistant material
  • For landing feet: TPU (to better absorb impacts)

BOM:

All additional parts needed for the drone are mentioned in the PDF files below, there are two versions: one for stock antennas (BOM_stock.pdf) and one to use different antennas (BOM_NO_STOCK.pdf)
