Description

I printed out the Hydra mod for the Bambu AMS unit by humebeam (https://makerworld.com/en/models/18570#profileId-19327) and really liked their design for the desiccant boxes. So I made it larger, made it more ventilated, changed the screw hole position, changed the screw hole design.

I had a 2LB bag of desiccant for an airtight storage tote and decided to make a desiccant box with a sliding lid, ventilation holes, a pull lip, and locks in place with a screw. This prints without supports, uses 54G of filament, and on my strength-profile for my P1S, prints in 3.5 hours on stanard. The slots are 2mm wide. Don't shake it too much, as some beads inside might break in half and be able to slip out.

A funnel is reccomended to pour in the desiccant beads. I've accidentally spilled them twice and I promise you they manage to get absolutely EVERYWHERE!

Use an M3 Screw ranging from 6mm to 12mm to lock in place. Use a little “oomph” when screwing it down the first time so it creates its own threads.

.Step files included - Take and remix to your desired size or what have you. Steal it, sell it; it's hard for me to care. But if you can, link back to me.

I'm a newbie to the 3d modeling scene…. The worstest, I might add.
