Ball Tweezers
Print Profile(2)

Description
I recently found that due to an unfortunate ball to fingers size ratio the latter make for poor actuators when it comes to handling tiny balls.
At a nominal diameter of 6mm not only are these balls tiny, but they're also very slippery.
In order to improve ball handling I designed some tweezers in two versions, one of them with an open spring design, the other with a similar spring, but pre-tensioned.
I find both of them to be useful in different scenarios.
The only setting I changed is 3 external walls to strengthen the spring tension and reduce creep (theoretically).
To that end I would suggest to unhook the pre-tensioner whenever it's not in use.
See attached image for the balls I use.
As ever, any 3D images are of the cross-eyed denomination.
