Description
This Mega Drill Dust Collector has been designed from a comment I received a couple of weeks ago, I do go out of my way to please everyone so this design has bigger sides and a bigger hopper to catch more of the debris when drilling holes, especially when drilling into masonry etc.
The collector has Mega Drill Dust Collector can be printed vertically without support and the top component is printed separately and glued into position with CA Glue or Epoxy Resin.
The drill hole is chamfered to deflect debris in the the hopper and alignment tabs are in place.
The handle has fillets making a comfortable finger hole and the top part of the handle has 1mm slotted protrusions at intervals aiding grip, to finish off the collector, Text has been embossed to both sides.
For added strength the collector should be printed with ABS Filament.
Another cool project to design.

Other Issues:Printed just fine, but half of the dust doesn't get into the container and made more mess then I thought :( I would suggest to make the container, so it can catch the dust, that fly's further from the drill hole.
