Archimedean Spiral Iris
Print Profile(1)

Description
This Model shows how an archimedian spiral translates a rotational movement into a linear movement at a constant rate.
In this case the rate is 120° to 18 mm.
If you turn the spiral disk to the next indentation on the outer diameter, the sliders will move inwards one measuring line.
Before assembly it is recommended to break loose the snap hooks. Just press them in until you hear a snapping noise.
Then install all sliders in the outwards position. Align the Iris and push down to snap it into place.
