Description

Boost Me (for free)

You can boost this model, if you like the designer's work. Thank you!

This is an easy print-in-place chain wear checker (chain gauge) for your bicycle. No supports needed.

The two sides of the tool covers steel chains (use the side with +1.0) and aluminium chains (use the side with 0.75).

The testing is easy: Just put the “start”-tip into a chain link. If the other side of the chain wear checker fits completely into chain link, the chain is worn and should be replaced. If chain wear checker tip does NOT fit into link, the chain is not worn and does not require replacement.

Tested successfully with PLA. No supports, no brim required. I added a second profile for AMS-users for easy coloring (the letters are filled and not cutted-out).

Don't forget to follow me to get all my future models. If you like my work, I am very thankful for a boost!

If you have any questions or ideas, just let me know, thank you. I am looking forward to your comments and builds!
