Boat Model Components Kit - MH010

Description

By popular demand, to go with my Gridfinity Shipping Container model, here is the amazing Gridfinity Container Ship, now named, the Evergrid.

There are two variants of the model, a small ship for a 2x1 grid, or a large ship for a 4x2 grid. The large ship is not exactly a double scale, I had to shrink it down a bit to fit on the A1/P1S/X1 256x256 build plate (sorry A1 mini owners!).

Since these are fully Gridfinity compatible as standard Gridfinity baseplates, you can feel free to ship whatever you want. Yes, it's just a Gridfinity base plate with extra steps. Pictured is the shipping container bins and also a hard drive caddy going with the ships. Have fun with it!

P.S. The model should (probably) float if you print it with the included settings, but you might have to fiddle with infill to get it to balance properly. No guarantees with any loading.

UPDATED 2024-07-23: New “version 2” of the model has been uploaded in response to feedback, it now has a revised hull shape with a much flatter bottom and less curved hull to print without supports. I have tested both the large and small models (pictured) and they now print well without supports (using an A1 with PLA).

UPDATED 2024-07-27: Added a version with motor mount for Bambu MH-010 kit, still in testing.
