Bottle Cutter

A PET plastic bottle cutter to easily cut bottle strips so they can be printed with our 3D printer.

This model is a remix of the Simple PET Bottle Cutter by @mirabetek https://makerworld.com/en/models/98441?from=search#profileId-111492 which we have improved as needed at Control 3D: We added 2 five-cent euro coins to prevent plastic friction from wearing down the cutter. We also made the base longer to easily attach the cutter to a table with woodworking clamps.

1. Bill of Materials (BOM)

- 2 0.05€ coins

- 2 M8x70 screws

- M8 threaded rod

- 4 M8 nuts

- Cyanoacrylate adhesive

2. Assembly

1. Apply cyanoacrylate adhesive to the coin slots.

2. Place the coins in their slots.

3. Screw a nut onto the threaded rod.

4. Screw the rod into the support.

5. Insert the nut into its slot.

6. Insert the screws into position.

7. Place the calibrated spacers.

8. Place the blade.

9. Place the tightening spacers.

10. Place the upper fixing nuts.

11. Now we can fix it to the table.

12. Ready to cut.
