Description

The Sunflower Fidget Buddy is an easy to print fidget toy that comes with a body as a stand for the sunflower fidget toy. If you don't want the body you can only print the head and put it on the fridge or magnetic boards. This design also participates in the MakerWorld Sandbox Games design contest.

 

The print comes with two plates, one for the multicolor head with just 3 color swaps and the singlecolor body.

 

You need to glue the body together after your print is finished. You also need two 10x2mm magnets (10x3mm magnets work as well but stand out a bit). Glue one magnet in the body, one magnet in the hole of the sunflower fidget toy and your new buddy is finished.

 

Attention: I recommend downloading this project and manage your flushing volume as you prefer if you print the multicolor head. White needs a lot of flushing to keep it clear on the print. You can place as many sunflower fidgets as possible on the buildplate and placing additional “Filament purge” objects on the plate if possible to minimize waste.
