Description

New XL Version of my original: Minecraft Sign - Make Your Own [With Grass Base]

Created for the SandBox Games Design Contest in July, 2024.

XL Minecraft Wooden Sign Designer

Create your own large minecraft sign with this 3mf file. The sign uses 4 colors - though using less is possible as well. It is colored on all sides, so it looks great from any angle.

Instructions to edit text:

Step 1: Select the line of text to edit
Step 2: Click the text tool in the top right

Step 3: Select any font of your choice. A minecraft font can be found very easily on google.

Note: When installing new fonts, shift+right click the .otf instead and install for all users. (bambu won't recognize otherwise)

Step 4: Verify size, and move the text if needed using the pink square

Colors

Here are the colors I am using:

Sign:

Dark Brown: Bambu PLA Matte Dark Brown

Medium Brown: Bambu PLA Matte Latte Brown

Light Brown: Bambu PLA Matte Desert Tan

Text: Duramic PLA Black (any black will do)

Feel free to use any other colors or brands, this is just what I have on hand and like the results.

Print Settings

Layer Height: 0.2mm for better ironing

Ironing Speed: 60

Ironing Flow: 25%

(Ironing can be very tricky to nail, especially with multicolor. Recommend adjusting based on your own filament and findings)

(Note this uses slightly different ironing settings than my original sign)
