To print the model you can use the included 3mf file which already has all the supports and correct settings to print properly.
The crystal is assembled out of two parts the base, and the top. The top prints with supports and the bottom does not.
- First print the 3d models using the fine tuned settings in the 3mf files.
- The crystal works best when printed in Bambu Lab PETG Translucent Purple (PETG Translucent Purple)
The base of the crystal works best with Bambu Lab PETG Translucent Clear (PETG Translucent Clear), but you could also print it with the same Bambu Lab PETG Translucent Purple (PETG Translucent Purple).
3D Printed Models Simply wrap the base starting at the bottom with led tape and then once you reach the top you can cut off the extra. Here is a link to led tape that is the perfect length for the crystal. (Led Tape on Amazon) You can also use Bambu Lab Led Tape that is listed in the bill of materials below.
Wrapped Base with Led Lights Then assemble the two together, by finding the hole in the crystal where the wires can go out and putting the wire from the base through that, and then glue the two pieces together by using the surface area of the lip of the base. In a future update there will be a option to assemble it without glue.
Both pieces assembled. Then you are finished! Congratulations on your new Minecraft Amethyst Crystal!
