This is a waterproof junction box for electrical cables I needed for my DIY garden stuff.

The box features a gasket printed in TPU that fits between the base and the lid, ensuring a watertight seal. The two connectors for the cables screw into the base and include an internal TPU gasket that tightens around the cable when the connector cap is screwed on, providing a secure seal.

You will find several cable gaskets to hopefully fit your specific size (tell me if you need more).

The junction box is closed with six M3x12mm screws, ensuring a firm and tight fit. There are two lid options available: one plain and another decorated with an electrical symbol, which can be printed in two colors using an AMS system. You will find print profiles for each one.

For the best durability, I recommend printing the box and connectors using outdoor-friendly materials like PETG, ABS, or ASA, while the gaskets should be printed exclusively in TPU for optimal flexibility and sealing.

For additional safety, it is advisable to apply silicone sealant to the joints and connectors.

Please note that the junction box is not certified in any way, and its use is entirely at the user’s own risk. The author assumes no responsibility for its usage. It is strongly recommended to include an automatic disconnect system, such as a circuit breaker or ground fault interrupter (GFCI), to protect against potential short circuits.
