Description

Introducing a versatile and fully parametric garbage bag dispenser, designed from scratch to meet all my (and hopefully your) needs. Unlike existing versions, this dispenser is customized to provide superior functionality and ease of use.

Key Features:

  • Secure Hold: Ensures the bag stays securely in place once loaded.
  • Flexible Installation: Can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
  • User-Friendly: Simple to screw on with easy access to grab bags.
  • Space Efficient: Designed to save space and keep your area organized.
  • Fully Parametric: Customize the size to fit any roll by adjusting the parameters in the .f3d file in Autodesk Fusion 360.

Adjustable Parameters:

  • inner_diameter: This is the diameter of the garbage bag roll and also the inner diameter of the dispenser. Since the roll shrinks as soon as you start using it, I recommend entering the exact diameter of a new roll for the best fit.
  • inner_length: This refers to the length of the garbage bag roll. The dispenser is designed to be slightly longer than the roll. For an optimal fit, use the exact length of the roll. If space is a concern, you might be able to use a slightly smaller number.
  • screw_diameter: This is the diameter of the screw holes, with a default setting of 4 mm. Adjust as needed for your specific screws.

The dispenser is designed for secure mounting with three screws, although two screws are sufficient for smaller bag sizes. I use and recommend Spax Screws.

If you need different sizes, simply modify parameters in the .f3d file. Feel free to contact me for additional sizes or any questions you might have.

Printing Recommendations:

  • Material: PETG or PLA is recommended for durability and ease of printing.
