Description

This 3D model features an articulated bacteriophage, a virus that infects bacteria. The design showcases the iconic structure of a bacteriophage, including its head (capsid), and the articulated tail, with a DNA double helix body. fun to play with and to look at

Features:

  1. Capsid Head:
    • A geometric, icosahedral structure representing the bacteriophage's protein shell.
    • The capsid contains a fixed, detailed DNA double helix inside.
  2. DNA Body:
    • An intertwined double helix structure permanently fixed within the capsid.
    • Provides a visual representation of the genetic material of the virus.
  3. Tail:
