If you make leather watch straps, then you know how a Watch Strap Bending Tool can be an essential accessory to make leather straps. Designed to shape and mold leather watch straps effortlessly, this tool ensures a perfect curve every time. I added two openings in the front so you can slide a metal rod or piece of filament to the front of the strap. This tool helps provide a smooth surface for bending and gluing leather straps.
Please Note: You can smooth out the top layer of the tool by modifying the variable layer height: Here is how to do it. Otherwise, the tool I added here, I printed with small ridges at the top. I did this because the leather I use for the bottom of the strap (Chevre) has dimples. I usually add sticky tape to the tool, so it “sticks” the leather to the tool. If I make it smooth (similar to wood) sometimes the leather gets too stuck to the tape and leaves residue.
