Unleash your Spidey with the Araknidisc Launcher! This is easy to assemble and packed with fun. This shooter combines playful design with impressive performance. The hinges are put together using regular 1.75mm filament as pins.

Backstory:
I was asked by my 4-year-old nephew for a Spider-Man web shooter and used Fusion360 to design this wrist-mounted disc shooter remixed from the 6-Shot Disc Shooter by uhltimate - MakerWorld. ←- uhltimate's model was a lot of fun to build and use, and it paved the way for this project. All that remains from his design however are the disc, and spring.

This is version has evolved through several revisions into a sleek, single-shot blaster capable of shooting up to 6.8 meters. I suppose it would depend on the settings you would put on the launcher spring if you wanted it to go further, but its already perfect for casually annoying the heck out of people at home.

Yes, single-shot. I know, I know.. All the people that have tried this have asked for a multi-shot version, and that is coming soon. I'm sure you think it's an easy edit, and even if it was, I still wanted to get the slimmest profile as best I could with this. Why? It's because Spider-Man's web shooter is impossibly SMALL and I wanted a ‘base model’ that was as small as possible. You can always add something to increase the capacity. I'm currently working on a magazine extension, feel free to beat me to it!

Warning: May be slightly addictive. At least for me, I can't get enough of it.

Note: This uses a 5.5x38mm compression spring that isn't found in Maker's Supply. If you live in the Philippines, you can get the same spring set that I got here: 200PCS Spring Assortment Set 20 Specifications Zinc Plated Compression and Extension Springs | Shopee Philippines

No Spring? No Problem. You can use a rubber band as shown in one of the photos.

Making it fit:
If the generic band included in the file doesn't fit you, it's okay, you can scale it in the slicer. Just make sure the scaling is NOT uniform (to retain the width of the band) and to use a caliper for a more accurate measurement of your wrist. Please understand that it isn't a ‘one size fits all’ band, that is still being developed.

More to come!!
- Junior Wrist Mount and Generic Band for kids (modelled after my nephews)
- Extended Magazine
- V2 with 3D printed torsion spring
