Statue of Greek goddess

The Greek Goddess Caryatid Statue is an architectural sculpture of a female figure used as a column or pillar to support the structure of a building. The word "caryatid" comes from the Greek "karyatides", meaning "of the women of Karyai", an ancient city in the Peloponnese.
